Program Unit
Online June Annual Meeting 2025
Wesleyan and Methodist Studies Unit
Call for Proposals
Our unit would like to start the June meeting in 2026 to include more international voices and provide a more affordable option for participants.
Statement of Purpose
This Unit seeks to promote the critical understanding and appropriation of Wesleyan and Methodist traditions. Our sessions are purposefully structured to encourage not only historical/sociological studies, but also theological reflection, critique, and extension. We understand Wesleyan traditions to include Methodist, Holiness, and other related strands of Christian tradition.

Review Process: Participant names are visible to chairs but anonymous to steering committee members until after final acceptance/rejection
Our unit is implementing very good practices for procedural health. Or committee members have a great sense of accountability. We communicate with one another very well to discuss ideas, choose topics for next year, and support one another.
